The Mets and Yankees have given New Yorkers pretty much everything they could hope for this spring.
With summer just over a week away — and the weather already feeling like it — both teams are primed to make the next few months quite entertaining.
Of course, fall is what really matters, but the Mets, winners of six games in a row and 15 of 18, and Yankees, winners of three in a row and 16 of 22, are primed to win their divisions in the same year for the first time since 2006.
The Mets’ next 10 games are against the Braves and the Phillies, usually a good test, even if the Braves can’t get out of their own way lately.
