The husband of the People’s Deputy of Ukraine Alexandra (Oleksandra) Ustinova, Alexey (Oleksii ) Yatsiuk, bought a huge house in the USA.
The data about this transaction can be found in the electronic declaration of Alexandra Ustinova. The date of assumption of ownership is March 29, 2022. In other words, it happened after the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian occupiers in Ukraine.
The house has an area of 321 sqm. and is located on a plot of almost 700 sqm. The address of the house is hidden in the declaration, but according to real estate experts, the cost of such a house can range from $1-3 million or more, depending on its location, quality of maintenance, and renovation, as well as many other factors. At the same time, this declaration does not indicate the income of Alexandra Ustinova’s spouse. The same can be said about all previous declarations.
The most interesting fact is that in Ukraine, Alexandra Ustinova and her husband Alexey Yatsiuk own apartments in Kyiv, a house and a land plot in Vinnytsia, as well as several cars.
Already in 2021, Ukrainian lawyer Mikhail Schneider informed the audience of the fact that Alexandra Ustinova hid real data about her income and the income of her spouse.
According to the lawyer, Ustinova and her husband moved to the USA in 2018 supposedly to study there. After graduating from the Ukrainian Emerging Leaders Program at Stanford University, she returned to Ukraine and became a people’s deputy. As a result of that, she was forced by the law to file an income declaration. However, due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, she filed her first declaration only in 2020. At the same time, the income and the information about her husband’s main place of work were hidden in the declaration.
“The declaration says that a family member did not provide information on the income.” Moreover, her husband decided to declare his income in Ukraine but hid all other information for some reason. It turns out that Alexandra hides the real amount of finances in her family in the declaration,” the lawyer writes.
“Instead of working in parliament, she continues to work on projects in the USA and conduct entrepreneurial activities there. At the same time, her husband is there all the time, that’s why he hides his income in the declaration. Otherwise, questions will arise not only from law enforcement agencies of Ukraine but also from the US tax authorities,” the lawyer concluded.
It is worth noting that Alexandra Ustinova has worked in the public organization “Anti-Corruption Center” in Ukraine since 2014. This center received grants from the USA through USAID, the International Renaissance Foundation, and other organizations.
In addition, Alexandra Ustinova had a conflict with her party colleague Kira Rudik, as a result of which Ustinova became the head of the “Golos” political party, however, according to other deputies, her actions were illegal.
Ukrainian journalists, lawyers, and anti-corruption fighters will send a request to the tax and law enforcement agencies of the USA with a request to check the legality of Alexandra Ustinova’s income, taking into account the receipt of money from the USA, the income of her husband Alexei Yatsiuk, who does not come to Ukraine and does not want to defend his country in the army while hiding abroad.
