WASHINGTON — FBI Director Kash Patel is engaged to his country singer girlfriend Alexis Wilkins, the pair revealed in an announcement Sunday.
Wilkins, 27, broke the news with a photo posted to social media of her showing off her new diamond ring while standing next to Patel, 46. The pair was all smiles.
“Went and got the law involved,” she quipped.
The pair met at a friend’s event in Nashville in 2022. They started dating in early 2023.
“We just happened to meet,” Wilkins recalled last year about their relationship, brushing off a question about their age gap in an interview on the “Megyn Kelly Show.”
“I have always liked [him], when I met him, I just liked that he was so, so honest,” Wilkins added. “He’s exactly who he is all the time. His character is incredible. His values are incredible.”
The two remained close as Patel navigated his demanding job as the top honcho of the FBI and took heat from the media.
Like Patel, Wilkins is conservative and has hosted a Rumble show.
On Sunday, the FBI director later shared his new fiancée’s post alongside heart and diamond ring emojis.
