Van Cleef & Arpels has re-created its iconic zodiac medals, which were first introduced by the storied French jewelry house in the 1950s and pay homage to the emblems of Western astrology.
Inspired by both nature and astronomy, the latest Zodiaque pieces have been reimagined as two captivating sets of pendants.
The first (seen above) takes the classic form of polished, solid-gold medallions, much like their elegant, midcentury predecessors.
The second new array is fashioned out of rare and colorful ornamental stones — one side depicts an animal or character along with its corresponding astrological element (fire, air, water or earth), while the reverse spells out the name and calendar dates for each sign.
Whichever celestial creation your gaze lands upon, we predict you’ll be enthralled.
They are, after all, written in the stars.
