The man accused of shooting San Francisco 49ers player Keion White in February following a nightclub dispute in San Francisco with rapper Lil Baby has been arrested in Los Angeles, police officials revealed to the California Post.

The suspected gunman, Gregory Walker, was taken into custody at around 5:30 a.m. in Hollywood, according to the LAPD.

Walker, 35, was booked on a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon with a semiautomatic rifle, LAPD officials said.

Walker was tracked down by officers with the Department’s Gang and Narcotics Division after the LAPD was notified of his presence in LA, the officials added.

Jail records listed Walker’s height and weight as 6 feet 2, 195 pounds. The records also stated he was being held without bail.

Walker allegedly shot White on Feb. 8 in San Francisco, just after the conclusion of Super Bowl 2026.

White had thrown a party for the big game at Dahlia’s Lounge bar and nightclub in the Mission District and reportedly got into an argument with Lil Baby after the “Drip Too Hard” artist was denied entry into the event.

During the altercation, a witness went to seek help from a manager upstairs and allegedly heard two gunshots while they were away. The witness reportedly told police that when they returned downstairs, they saw White had been shot in the leg.

Topless women were reportedly seen sweeping up dollar bills when police later entered the club for an investigation into the shooting.

At the time of the incident, the 49ers called White “a victim of a shooting” who had “sustained a bullet wound to his ankle.”

White, a second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft who joined the Niners via a trade with the New England Patriots in 2025, required surgery to mend his wounds but went on to make a full recovery.

He’s played in all four of San Francisco’s games this season, totaling two sacks and six tackles.
