Fox Sports is adding some new American faces to this year’s FIFA World Cup broadcasts.
The Post has learned that former Team USA coach Bob Bradley will join Fox Sports for the 2026 FIFA World Cup as one of a dozen new additions to the team ahead of the tournament’s start Thursday, alongside former English soccer player-turned-actor Peter Crouch.
Former Team USA soccer players will also join the fold, including Maurice Edu, Walker Zimmerman, Sacha Kljestan, Brad Guzan and Jay DeMerit.
Other additions include Kasper Schmeichel, Alex Scott, Melissa Ortiz and Kaylyn Kyle.
“FIFA World Cup 2026 is the biggest stage this sport has ever seen — and we’ve built our
coverage to match it,” senior vice president of Fox Sports digital Michael Bucklin told The Post.
“This is the most ambitious digital sports production we’ve ever undertaken, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring it forward in support of the greatest sporting event in our country’s history.”
Bradley served as the USMNT coach from 2006-11, leading the Americans to the Group C crown before a disappointing loss to Ghana to the Round of 16 in 2010.
Edu had once been expected to be the face of USA soccer in the early 2000s, but injuries and an uneven club career forced him back to the MLS in the 2010s.
The former “FIFA 09” video cover athlete, Edu could provide a unique perspective on the current team given his experience with the unit in the mid 2000s.
The 2026 World Cup marks Fox’s third straight time hosting the global event.
FIFA gave Fox the broadcast rights for $485 million in a controversial decision after moving the 2022 Qatar Tournament from the summer to the winter, which congested the sporting calendar in the United States.
Fox previously won the rights to air the 2018 and 2022 editions when its reported $425 million bid in 2011 outpaced ESPN and NBC.
