Dakota Mortensen will be missing from the upcoming season of Vanderpump Villa.
According to Variety, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star’s storyline will be edited out of season 3 of the reality series once it debuts Thursday, April 16.
Us Weekly has reached out to Hulu and Dakota’s rep for comment.
The decision comes after Dakota, 33, faced several headlines for his up-and-down relationship with ex-girlfriend Taylor Frankie Paul.
News broke on March 16 that the exes, who share son Ever, 2, were allegedly part of a dispute that transpired a few weeks prior. The revelation sparked a halt on production of season 5 of Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, which both Taylor, 31, and Dakota have appeared on since season 1.
At the time, a spokesperson for the Draper City Police Department in Utah confirmed to Us at the time that there is an open “domestic assault investigation” involving the pair. Authorities added that “allegations have been made in both directions” and “contact was made with involved parties.” (Authorities in Utah were aware of two incidents that reportedly occurred between February 22 and February 23.)
The Draper Police Department later passed along their investigation to the district attorney’s office to determine if charges were warranted.
“The district attorney’s office will determine if any charges will be filed,” Draper Police Department Chief Rich Ferguson said in a March 26 release. “If the district attorney’s office declines to file charges, the city prosecutor will evaluate any further action available based on that determination.”
Us previously revealed that all 10 episodes of Vanderpump Villa season 3 will premiere on Hulu April 16. According to the official synopsis, Vanderpump Villa follows Lisa Vanderpump as she “returns home to England to challenge her staff to the most lavish, drama-filled summer yet.”
DadTok, which also includes Jordan Ngatikaura, Chase McWhorter, Mason McWhorter, Zac Affleck and Jacob Neeley, is still expected to be featured in season 3.
As for Dakota, he will have the chance to appear on reality TV when he stars on Unwell Winter Games.
Alex Cooper’s new show — set to premiere on YouTube Monday, April 6 — is expected to bring reality TV’s most “polarizing” competitors together for a unique competition show.

As for Taylor, her future with The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives remains uncertain after ABC chose to cancel her season of The Bachelorette amid allegations of her involvement in a domestic violence dispute.
