CES 2026: How this robotic lawn mower is changing the future of lawn care

Winter may be here now, but those busy days tending to the garden and lawn under a hot sun will be here again before you know it. But this year is going to be different. A new lawn hero has emerged to make things a lot easier for you.

Lymow unveiled its new robotic mower, Lymow One Plus, at CES 2026, and it’s a game-changer.

Your days of pushing and pulling are gone. You can kick that ride-on to the curb. The Lymow One Plus does the heavy lifting for you. The brand designs its robotic mowers with larger, more challenging lawns in mind, so you can rest assured that it can handle whatever overgrown mess you’re dealing with.

Lymow co-founder Charles Li explained: “It’s actually a robotic lawn mower because our vision is always to leverage the best technology (or the most appropriate technology) to free up people’s hands to make sure they’ve got more time for the things and people that truly matter.”

It somehow improves on all of the features that made the brand’s Lymow One a lawn care staple.

  • The world’s first robotic mower with rotary blades gets even better with the upgraded SK5 tool steel blades. The added sharpness and durability provide more efficient cuts, even on tough grasses like St. Augustine.
  • The grass-lifting airflow system ensures an even, consistent cut by lifting grass blades, minimizing missed spots and improving lawn appearance.
  • Improved obstacle-crossing ability from 2 inches to 2.7 inches.
  • Built on extensive real-world training, it delivers reliable obstacle avoidance, recognizing more than 20 common obstacles, such as flower beds, sprinklers, stone paths, curbs, and garden decorations.
  • Features a self-cleaning side-brush system designed to actively prevent grass and debris buildup

If you’re looking to take lawn care more seriously in 2026 without the need for extra work on your part, Lymow One Plus is the only correct choice for heavy-duty jobs. How many mowers do you know that could crawl over tree branches (up to 2.7 inches) or still create a perfectly manicured lawn on a 45-degree incline? This bad boy could probably tame a whole jungle if put to the task. It can turn grass that looks like the front yard of an abandoned insane asylum and make it resemble the White House lawn.

Li added, “The current penetration of robotic lawn mowers in the US market is actually less than 5%…or let’s say around 3%. So, honestly, the current robotic lawn mowers aren’t really doing the job. You know, in the US, the terrains are complicated and there are all sorts of grass types. So we came up with our unique molting blades, rotary mountain blades, and our unique track system, which makes us the first who can conquer a 45-degree slope and the first who support all grass types in the US.”

Size and terrain are no obstacles for the Lymow One Plus. Built with a durable aluminum-alloy frame and a 15,000 mAh LiFePO4 battery that delivers up to 3 hours of runtime on a single charge, this robot lawn mower is designed to tackle rugged lawns without compromising power or efficiency.

Its smart navigation system works off Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) GPS signals that ensure precise mowing patterns, fewer missed spots and truly autonomous mowing. Combined with Visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (VSLAM) and AI vision capabilities, the One Plus robotic mower is able to detect obstacles such as hoses, edges, and even pets, ensuring safety and uninterrupted performance.

The Lymow One Plus requires practically no monitoring — simply set it loose and come back once the job is finished. Most of the setup is controlled via the App without the need for perimeter wire. In addition, the App gives you the ability to set the cutting height, moving speed, determine mowing patterns, and create schedules.

There was a lot of exciting tech showcased at CES this year, but for lawn owners, this is the only one that matters. Lymow just cleared your chore schedule, and potentially saved you money on lawn care services so you can spend your time taking care of more important things, like resting on the weekends.

Check it out for yourself and be the first to score one when pre-orders launch in February.
