Celebrity chefs Bobby Flay and Brooke Williamson keep making headlines for their whirlwind romance.
The pair first struck up a friendship after working on the Food Network show Bobby’s Triple Threat. Williamson was one of Flay’s hand-picked “titans” for the reality cooking show, which premiered in September 2022.
When the show first aired, Williamson was still married to Nick Roberts. She and Roberts tied the knot in 2007 and share a son, Hudson. They separated in 2022, finalizing their divorce in 2024.
Us Weekly confirmed in March 2025 that Williamson had moved on with Flay.
Flay’s daughter, Sophie Flay, hinted at the romance during an interview with Elvis Duran and the Morning Show that same month. (Bobby shares Sophie with ex-wife Kate Connelly, whom he was married to from 1995 to 1997.)
“[Sophie] did make a comment to me! I said to her, ‘So, do you get to go with him to some of these things?’ And she said, ‘He always has a different date,’” cohost Danielle Monaro quipped. Sophie was quick to set the record straight.
“I said, ‘He always has a date!’” she corrected, alluding to her dad being a one-woman-man. (Bobby was also married to Debbie Ponzek from 1991 to 1993 and actress Stephanie March from 2005 to 2015. Bobby also dated Christina Pérez from 2021 to 2024.)

March 2025
Romance rumors between Bobby and Williamson first started swirling after she was honored at the L.A. No Kid Hungry Dinner. Bobby was there to show his support, posing for photos with Williamson, which she posted on Instagram.
“What a dream of an evening at the L.A. No Kid Hungry Dinner!” Williamson wrote, in part, leaving Bobby out of her caption. “I was extremely humbled to be honored as the @nokidhungry Chef Champion, and I was reminded why I stand by their mission of ensuring every child has the food they need to thrive, even in the face of adversity.”
On March 27, Us confirmed that Bobby and Williamson were dating.
April 2025
Bobby seemingly confirmed his romance with Williamson when they were sitting courtside at the New York Knicks vs. Phoenix Suns NBA game on April 6. He posted a photo of Williamson’s face with the basketball court behind her.
“Thanks @nyknicks for a great game and a great win last night,” he captioned the post. “Food, service and slams were all first rate!”
June 2025
Flay spoke about his relationship with Williamson for the first time in an interview with People published on June 3.
“Well, first of all, I’ve been friends with Brooke forever,” he told the outlet. “I mean, she and I have been friends for a long time, and so we shot this show before we started actually officially dating. So it has always kind of been the same for me.”
He continued, “She’s been on the show basically since the inception. So it’s always been fun to kind of have her around because we’ve been friends, but now going forward, it’s a little bit different. So we’ll see what that brings.”
Flay gushed that he and Williamson have “a lot in common” including both being chefs and having children.
“We are both in the restaurant business,” he shared. “We have tons to talk about in terms of the things that we love to do besides just go and have dinner every once in a while. So it’s been really great. And one of the things I really like about being in a relationship with Brooke is that she’s great to bounce things off of. Like, we ask each other’s opinion about things that we’re doing food wise or restaurant wise or business wise, all the time. So it’s really nice to have kind of a best friend that you’re dating that can also be helpful answering the questions that you have.”

Flay and Williamson headed to the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York on September 4 to experience a date night at the US Open.
During a match, the camera panned to the couple as Williamson wrapped her arm around Flay’s neck and gave him a passionate kiss.
December 2025
During the December 1 episode of the “Bobby on the Beat” podcast, Flay set the record straight on the diamond ring the famed chef gifted Williamson.
“There’s been all these articles written like, ‘Are they engaged now?’ For me, I think it’s important to set the record straight for you because I have so much respect for you and I want you to be treated that way,” the Food Network star shared as Williamson served as a guest. “I did give you a ring and it is a diamond ring. You and I have had this conversation. Marriage is not a thing that interests us. … I wanted to give that to you because I wanted to show my commitment to you in general.”
Flay believes the piece of jewelry is a symbol that the pair are “life partners.”
“To me, that’s the most important thing,” he continued. “Having you in my life has really been a special thing for me, for my friends, for my family. You’re spectacular.”
January 2026
Flay had nothing but sweet things to say about Williamson when she joined him for another episode of his “Bobby on the Beat” podcast.
“What did I call you the other day? My romantic partner,” Williamson revealed, as Flay chimed in, “Yeah, exactly. We’re a permanent couple — let’s put it that way.”
He once again referred to Williamson as his “life partner” as they discussed his decision to give her a diamond ring just months into their relationship. Williamson admitted she was “a little bit” confused at first when Flay gave her the ring in London, uttering, “What the f*** is this?”
“I mean, imagine opening like a little blue box with a giant diamond ring inside, and on a park bench on a beautiful day in London, Regent’s Park, in the Japanese garden. It was a perfect day,” she remarked.
Flay clarified that the ring was a “sign of commitment” and not an engagement ring. Overall, Williamson felt the ring was “perfect” and praised her boyfriend for doing such a great job picking it out.
