Adult Content Creator Bonnie Blue Breaks Down Her Arrest in Bali: Interrogation Details and More (Exclusive)

News RoomBy News RoomDecember 23, 20251 ViewsNo Comments

Adult content creator Bonnie Blue is ready to share her side of the story following her highly publicized Bali arrest.

“I mean, I was definitely nervous,” Blue, 26, exclusively told Us Weekly of her mindset before she was detained. “I wanted to do Bali the previous years, but I was aware of how strict Bali can be, so I avoided it and went to Fiji instead. This year, I went in with more information. I had a lawyer already picked out in case anything went wrong. So I went aware of my risk, but I was happy to take the risk.”

News broke earlier this month that Blue, 26, had been arrested in Bali, where she traveled for “Schoolies” — an event with Australian high school graduates celebrating the end of the school year. A police statement at the time shared that Blue was taken into custody for allegedly making “content containing pornographic or immoral elements.”

Blue told Us she faced two charges. “One of them was pornographic content, and the other one was related to that,” she explained. She was ultimately charged about $12 related to road violations with her “Bangbus” and received a 6-month ban from Indonesia.

Scroll down to see more details regarding Blue’s arrest and time in Bali:

How Long Was Bonnie Blue in Bali Before Her Arrest?

Blue explained that she began “Schoolies” on November 28 with plans to wrap up the event on December 5. She was arrested one day prior.

“To be honest, it ended perfectly. If it was day one of Schoolies, I’d have been like, ‘OK, this is frustrating. I’ve come here for a purpose, and now Schoolies is happening, and I’m sat in prison,’” Blue said. “But the timing was perfect.”

Was Bonnie Blue’s Footage Deleted After Her Arrest?

Despite being “concerned” about her footage being deleted, Blue said she “knew” to backup “so much of the content” — and had “already sent it off and deleted it off my hard drives and laptops.”

“There was some content from that day and previous 24 hours that I couldn’t remember if I had backed it up or not,” she said. “So I was thinking, ‘Gosh, that’s going to be frustrating if I don’t get sent to prison and I get out and I don’t have the content.’ However, no content was deleted. So that was a bonus.”

Bonnie Blue Claims Someone Was ‘Reporting to the Police’ About Her Whereabouts Before Arrest

Blue claimed that someone had reached out to her before going to Bali and offered to organize lawyers, an Airbnb and “contacts” with people “if any trouble did happen.” Blue ultimately paid about $100,000 for the alleged service — but realized when she got to Bali that this person was claiming to have connections with people that she didn’t have.

“I was like, ‘OK, well, hats off to her, because she’s just took 75,000 pounds from me,’” Blue recalled. “I mean, from the day I landed, she was reporting to the police, telling them where I was, what I was up to, and it allowed the police a lot easier, I guess, to do their investigation, because he was always aware of my location ahead of me arriving.”

Blue speculated that this individual was conspiring against her “for the money and to try and gain connections.”

What Happened During Bonnie Blue’s Raid?

Blue claimed that there were about 40 police officers who were “completely tipping up, destroying the villa” during the raid. She also alleged that some were FaceTiming their friends to talk about the raid and were “putting the camera in [her] face.”

“One of the things, obviously, that’s been spoken about a lot, is respect, saying I disrespected a country that has very high morals,” Blue shared. “And I think if that was really the case, I wouldn’t have had police officers shoving a camera in my face and FaceTiming friends and family just to say they’d arrested me and saying they were going to charge me.”

Blue claimed she was instructed to remove her pants because it was “used for porn,” which she said “wasn’t the case.” She alleged that they were “just trying to humiliate [her] at every point possible.”

“This point was scary because I was asking for a lawyer, and they were all ignoring me. They were pretending they didn’t speak any English,” she alleged.

Bonnie Blue Had to Explain ‘Rage Bait Content’ With Police Officers

After a few hours of the police officers going through the alleged evidence, Blue shared that she went to the police station and met with her lawyer which was “somewhat comforting.” Despite the lawyer not speaking “loads of English,” he assured Blue that it would “be OK.”

“He said, ‘Don’t worry, you’re going to be out within an hour.’ That hour was a very long week in the end,” Blue said. “So yeah, it was definitely scary at times, but more frustrating than anything, because they’re honestly stupid and trying to explain to them some of my rage bait content.”

How Long Was Bonnie Blue Questioned After Her Arrest?

Blue explained that she was “questioned for the first 30 hours” and “wasn’t allowed to leave the police station.”

“I was interrogated,” she said. “I wasn’t allowed much sleep, no food, little water, toilets without toilet paper. Hygiene was not a thing in there at all.”

Blue shared that she was released after about 30-35 hours and sent to immigration, who took her passport. “They didn’t detain me, because there was about, in total, probably 20 of us. They don’t have the space to detain 20 people, so we were allowed to leave, but I was left with no phone, no money, obviously, no passport,” she alleged. “I wasn’t allowed to return to my villa because it was a crime scene. We’re in the middle of Bali, and we’re like, ‘What do we do? Like, where do we go?’”

Where Did Bonnie Blue Stay in Bali After Her Arrest?

Blue explained that the family of one of her “Schoolies” participants “put [them] up in their hotel.”

“We ordered room service, showered, so that was very nice, and nice to feel fresh and clean again, but I still had no clothes, like no clean underwear,” she said. “The following day, we had to go back to the police station for more interrogating questions, but after the first 30 hours, I was able to check into a hotel. So I wasn’t in prison.”

How Was Bonnie Blue Feeling After Her Arrest?

After her arrest, photos of Blue smiling and seemingly having an overall positive demeanor circulated online. While reflecting back on the time, Blue explained that she wouldn’t “cry” even if she was going to prison.

“If I’m going to jail, crying is generally not going to do anything,” she said. “And I can’t stand it when people do crocodile tears. So yeah, sucking on a lollipop and wearing a cute two piece was the best thing I could do.”

When Was Bonnie Blue Able to Leave Bali?

After being fined $12 related to road violations with her “Bangbus” and receiving a 6-month ban from Indonesia, Blue claimed she had to go back to interrogation. She was then able to board her flight and was given back her passport.

“That was scary, because it was like, well, you’ve made out to the press and the whole world that you’ve just released me. But the reality is, I’m sat back in an office, not allowed to go to the toilet, not allowed to take a drink unless you say so,” she alleged. “We didn’t feel safe until we got on that plane, and that plane took off.”

Did Any Creators Reach Out to Bonnie Blue After Her Arrest?

Blue claimed that “a lot of creators” reached out, with some “confused if it’s a stunt.” When Blue didn’t reply to their messages for a few days, the creators realized it was real. “A lot of support, a lot of love,” she said. “Obviously haters as always, but you’re always going to have that.”

Will Bonnie Blue Return to Bali?

Despite her 6-month ban from Indonesia, Blue shared that she has her eyes set on returning in 2026 for another “Schoolies” event. “I’ll be back in time for Schoolies next year,” she said. “So to me, it couldn’t have worked out better.”
