Batwings are nothing to be ashamed of, but if you’d rather conceal them, we get it. Thankfully, the right sweater style can do so without making it obvious, and Reese Witherspoon found the perfect one. Her exact sweater is out of stock in most sizes (and is over $120), however, we found a chic fall alternative on sale for $35.
For a Draper James photoshoot, Witherspoon posed outdoors in a dreamy light blue sweater, brown corduroy pants and tall suede boots, looking like she stepped out of a Nashville boutique store. Her lantern-sleeve sweater made her outfit appear instantly expensive, and we love that the style skims the upper arm effortlessly. This luxe-looking Amazon version delivers a similar look, making it the easiest ‘add to cart!’

This Zeagoo Lantern-Sleeve Sweater nails Witherspoon’s aesthetic with the same rich blue hue and classy, sneakily flattering lantern-sleeve style. It also features a relaxed silhouette and cut that reads boutique — not basic.
Although we don’t know what hers feels like, this on-sale sweater is soft and stretchy, making it ideal for every fall event. Shoppers confirm that it’s cozy, has a good-quality texture and even delivers a “feeling like a blanket.”
“[It] will be a staple in my closet for the fall season,” one Amazon shopper wrote. “I can wear it to church or simply run errands. I am eight months postpartum, and this is baggy enough and still gives a polished look.”
Another happy fan shared, “The oversized fit is just right — relaxed and trendy without swallowing your frame. It looks great paired with jeans for a casual day out or dressed up slightly for a business casual office look.”
Clearly this versatile pick is ready to do the styling work for you. And because it comes in over 15 colors and patterns, you can mix and match it with other staples in your wardrobe. You can snap it up in neutral khaki, funky stripes or the celeb-approved blue.
Witherspoon’s sweater style is a textbook example of looking effortless, and this Amazon version lets you borrow the formula without denting your wallet. Grab it now while it’s on sale!
