The 2026 NFL season hasn’t gone how the Los Angeles Rams or Arizona Cardinals planned.
Today, the divisional rivals — who are currently dwelling in the NFC West cellar — will attempt to turn things around in a big Week 6 game at Inglewood, CA’s SoFi Stadium.
Ahead of the contest, Los Angeles are 12.5-point home favorites, according to oddsmakers.
Yet, outsized expectations has been their downfall these past few weeks.

Coming into this year, Matthew Stafford’s club had their eyes on the Super Bowl after trading for Myles Garrett and luring Aaron Donald out of retirement. Instead, they’ve floundered through five weeks and sit at a 2-3 record after some tough breaks. Last week’s heartbreaking 37-34 MNF overtime loss against the Rams especially stung.
Meanwhile, expectations were always low for Jacoby Brissett and co. but they had a brief flirtation with success after taking down the seemingly promising Los Angeles Chargers…also at SoFi Stadium.
Can the 1-4 Cards continue their SoFi winning streak? Or will the Rams (who The California Post say are “no longer Super Bowl favorites”) live up to the prognosticators’ predictions?
