Jennifer Lawrence has been quietly perfecting the ‘rich mom’ aesthetic, and her latest bag might be the most convincing evidence yet. Slouchy, oversized and effortlessly expensive-looking, it’s the kind of carry-all that makes even the simplest fall outfit feel infinitely more luxe. And thankfully, you don’t need a celebrity budget to copy the look.
On September 22, Lawrence stepped out in New York City carrying a slouchy camel top-handle bag from The Row with black wide-leg pants, white Dior sneakers, a suede trench coat and a pink velvet scarf. The soft leather, relaxed shape and warm camel shade gave her outfit that understated, ‘if you know, you know’ luxury feel. While her designer bag costs $5,300, we found a $40 lookalike on Amazon that captures the same rich mom vibe for less.

The Baoloy Leather Top-Handle Tote Bag has a similarly slouchy silhouette, short top handles and a warm camel finish that looks especially luxe for fall. It also comes in black and chocolate brown, plus a smaller size that’s ideal for days when you don’t need quite as much room. Inside, a slip pocket and zippered pocket help keep smaller essentials organized.
And roomy might be an understatement. One shopper who brought the bag on a trip said it was “large enough” to hold all their clothes and toiletries while still being able to “fit under the seat” on the plane. Between work essentials, weekend necessities and everything you somehow end up carrying around, there’s plenty of space to make it an everyday bag.
The PU leather holds its shape without looking overly structured, giving it a relaxed, lived-in look that makes Lawrence’s designer version so chic. Another reviewer even said it “can be compared with Italian-made” and shared that they “got a lot of compliments” while carrying it. For a $40 bag, that’s some seriously high praise.
Pair it with dark denim, loafers and a camel coat for an easy way to bring Lawrence’s rich mom bag look into your own fall wardrobe. The oversized pick can carry everything you need without sacrificing style, while the warm neutral shade goes with practically every fall color in your closet. At $40, it delivers the luxe, slouchy look of her $5,300 carry-all for a tiny fraction of the price.
