Tal, Oren and Alon Alexander have retained prominent attorney Alan Dershowitz, whose work for the family has included reviewing executive clemency options after the three brothers were convicted in a sweeping federal sex-trafficking case, according to a report.
Financial records reviewed by the New York Times show that the Alexander family hired Dershowitz in March 2025, months before the brothers’ federal trial began, and paid him at least $250,000 while he later sought additional fees.
Among the documents obtained by the Times were proof of a $250,000 payment, records of a wire transfer and a later bill from Dershowitz seeking a further $250,000.
Dershowitz confirmed to the The Post that he is working for the Alexander family, but said he has neither discussed pardon options with the brothers nor raised their case with Trump.
He told the Times that his hourly rate had risen to $2,750 but that he was charging the Alexanders his previous $2,500 rate.
After applying the original retainer, he said the family owed another $106,857.
But a letter Dershowitz sent to the brothers’ mother, Orly Alexander, said his work included examining possible “executive clemency and judicial reversal,” according to the Times.
“My work has been purely on legal issues completely,” Dershowitz told the newspaper, adding, “I would be happy to provide consultation services on any aspect.”
Dershowitz said he agreed to work for the family because he knew the brothers’ parents, Shlomi and Orly Alexander.
Lawyers for the three brothers said in a joint statement to the Times that they were unaware of any outreach to the White House on their clients’ behalf.
“Our sole focus has been on preparing for sentencing,” they said.
In an email to The Post, Dershowitz said he had spent “hundreds of hours” working on the brothers’ bail, appellate and sentencing issues at his standard hourly rate for non-pro bono cases.
“I have not focused on executive clemency issues,” he added.
The brothers are now scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 6 and each faces a minimum of 15 years behind bars and a potential life sentence, according to the Times.
Dershowitz, 88, has longstanding ties to Trump, whom he helped defend during the president’s first impeachment trial. He was also involved in at least 12 clemency grants during Trump’s first term, according to the Times.
The Alexanders themselves also have ties to Trump’s family.
Tal and Oren, who became prominent luxury real estate brokers before their arrests, represented Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump when the couple purchased a $24 million Florida mansion in 2021, according to the Times.
The potential clemency push comes after all three brothers were convicted March 9 following an approximately five-week trial in Manhattan federal court.
A jury found them guilty on every charge that reached deliberations in a sweeping prosecution that accused the brothers of using travel, luxury accommodations and access to exclusive events to lure women and girls before sexually assaulting them.
The government’s case included testimony from 11 victims as well as travel records, communications among the brothers, photographs and videos.
The jury considered 10 collective counts, but because several applied to more than one defendant, the verdict produced 19 individual guilty findings: seven against Tal and six each against Oren and Alon.
All three were convicted of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking.
Tal was additionally convicted of multiple substantive sex trafficking and interstate travel offenses, including a trafficking count involving a 16-year-old girl.
Oren was convicted on trafficking and interstate inducement charges as well as two sexual abuse counts stemming from an assault aboard a cruise ship.
He was also convicted of sexually exploiting a 17-year-old whom prosecutors said he recorded while she was incapacitated.
Alon was convicted of trafficking offenses, including the count involving the 16-year-old, an interstate-inducement charge and the two cruise ship sexual abuse counts.
The Post has sought comment from the Alexander brothers and the White House.
