There are cute hiking outfits, and then there are Kate Middleton hiking outfits — and hers are enough to make me want to plan a day on the trails. The Princess of Wales has mastered making practical outdoor pieces look surprisingly polished, and her favorite khaki hiking pants are no exception.
Earlier this spring, Middleton stepped out in a pair of khaki Fjallraven hiking pants, styling them with a navy top, matching jacket and hat and brown hiking boots. Her exact $250 pair is currently sold out, but I found a similar style on Amazon for just $35.

The Moosehill 5-Pocket Hiking Pants have the same outdoorsy-but-polished feel as Middleton’s pair, right down to the khaki color and streamlined silhouette. They also come in sage green, black, gray and several other versatile shades, with sizes ranging from 2 to 18.
Better yet, these pants aren’t just cute enough to make me want to hit the trails — they’re designed for actually doing it.
