Hold your breath, Jets fans.
Breece Hall suffered a strained groin during Monday’s practice as he came up lame after catching a screen pass and rolling toward the end zone.
Hall hobbled over to the medical tent and was examined by trainers before leaving the practice field.
“I don’t think it was a big deal but I want to make sure I get the evaluation on that,” head coach Aaron Glenn said.
Hall, who signed a three-year, $43.5 million extension in the offseason, is expected to be a focal point of the offense.
He had his first 1,000-yard rushing season last year.
Hall, 27, is a big proponent of MetLife Stadium changing from turf to grass but the practice injury occurred on grass.
