Jen Belichick doesn’t seem to be sweating the recent order for her arrest.
Hours after The California Post reported Bill Belichick’s daughter-in-law was wanted in North Carolina for blowing off a mandatory court date, she appeared to make light of the situation on her Instagram Stories.
She shared a photo of an iPhone that had The Post’s article pulled up on it and she wrote in a caption on the image, “I hired an attorney!!!!!”
She also added a tongue-in-cheek tune over the social media post — P. Diddy, Black Rob and Mark Curry’s “Bad Boy for Life.”
A Brunswick County judge issued the order for Jen’s arrest on Monday, after she didn’t appear in court on July 10 to handle a traffic matter.
According to court records, Jen is facing a misdemeanor speeding charge after she was accused of going 88 mph in a Jeep in a 70 mph zone on May 21.
A court official told The Post on Monday Jen could resolve the issue by filing a motion to recall the order, turning herself in or hiring an attorney.
Based on her Monday evening Instagram post, it seems she’s opted for the latter.
Jen and Bill’s son — Tar Heels defensive coordinator Steve Belichick — have been married for around a decade and share several children together.
