Odell Beckham Jr. meets with John Harbaugh to talk potential Giants reunion

News RoomBy News RoomMarch 31, 20260 ViewsNo Comments

A deal might not be in the works, but Odell Beckham Jr. is going all out to be a member of the Giants once more.

The wide receiver was in Phoenix during the NFL meetings and met with head coach John Harbaugh and spoke with other members of the Giants organization, ESPN reported.

Beckham has not been shy about trying to return to the Giants, who selected him 12th overall in 2014. He recently addressed the idea during an interview with Kay Adams in Los Angeles during a flag football game.

“That sounds great; if that opportunity presents itself, I would love to do that. I would be excited about that,” Beckham said.

The new Giants head coach seemed open to the idea as well when he spoke with reporters in Arizona on Monday, when he said that “if Odell’s an option we’ll be looking at him, for sure.”

The two are familiar with one another, with Beckham having played in Baltimore during the 2023 season, when he had 35 catches for 565 yards and three touchdowns.

Harbaugh said that the two “talk” and “text.”

“We’ve maintained a really great relationship,’’ Harbaugh said. “He’s one of my very favorite people in the world. So it’s not like you don’t talk to guys about things like that. And certainly we have.’’

Beckham has been working as if he’s going to play in the NFL next season after not playing in 2025.

He had been suspended for six games last season for violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs.

Beckham spent five seasons with the Giants during the start of his career, appearing in 59 games and making 390 catches for 5,476 yards and 44 touchdowns.

He also played three years in Cleveland, a year in Baltimore, a year in Miami and a year with the Rams, with whom he won a Super Bowl title.
