Fullback Patrick Ricard signing with Giants to reunite with John Harbaugh

News RoomBy News RoomMarch 10, 20261 ViewsNo Comments

If Isaiah Likely was the most … er … likely former Raven to follow head coach John Harbaugh to the Giants, Patrick Ricard wasn’t far behind.

And now they are both Giants.

One day after the Giants agreed to terms with Likely to be one of their top pass-catchers, the Giants added Ricard to be a lead-blocking fullback for Cam Skattebo, Tyrone Tracy Jr. and Devin Singletary.

Ricard made six Pro Bowls in nine years under Harbaugh with the Ravens and has been a First- or Second-Team All-Pro in each of the last three seasons.

It’s certainly not because of his ability with the ball in his hands.

Ricard has 60 touchdowns and seven touchdowns in 132 career games.

But Giants offensive coordinator Matt Nagy’s offense — like Harbaugh’s last few Ravens coordinators — believes in the fullback.

Nagy employed Michael Burton with the Bears and Saints.

Follow The Post’s live updates of all the signings, rumors and deals from NFL free agency.

Ricard played every game between 2022-24 before missing six last season. When healthy, he averaged 25 offensive snaps per game, with as many as 43 in Week 17 against the Packers.

The Giants have now poached four Ravens, including Likely, Ricard, defensive back Ar’Darius Washington and punter Jordan Stout. Like Ricard, Stout was a 2025 All-Pro.
