The woman who was once dubbed the “most beautiful girl in the world” has announced some major personal news.
Thylane Blondeau, 24, first rose to worldwide attention in 2006 after she graced the cover of Vogue Enfants, a version of the magazine focused specifically on children’s fashion.
Her cover shot earned her the title of “the most beautiful girl in the world” in the TC Candler’s annual 100 Most Beautiful Faces of the Year list.
Now, taking to Instagram, Blondeau posted a snap next to her partner Benjamin Attal, showing off the bulky rock on her finger.
“I said yes to my best friend. Here’s to forever,” she captioned the set of images.
Snaps showed the moment Attal, a French actor, proposed at a beautiful spot overlooking the water, at a table that was surrounded by rose petals.
The couple’s dog was even featured in the photos.
People were quick to congratulate the couple, including Blondeau’s mother, television presenter Veronika Loubry.
“Life has thrown me through some storms lately, but today, seeing you get engaged to the most wonderful son-in-law, I feel like a little ray of sunshine is finally breaking through the clouds,” Loubry said.
“Congratulations to you both, my loves! Can’t wait to start planning the wedding. Your mum who loves you so much. Gégé must be so proud of you!”
Karine Le Marchand said: “Well done, Thylane, for recognising this gem that you so richly deserve. Aunt Kaka is so happy for you both.”
Blondeau and Attal, 28, began dating in 2022.
Last year Blondeau attended the Miu Miu show at Paris Fashion Week in October 2025.
But while the world-famous French model, who shot to fame at just six years old, looked effortlessly chic outside the Palais d’Iena in the capital city, behind the scenes Blondeau had been handling unwanted attention.
Blondeau took to Instagram to address relentless online commentary that has plagued her for over a decade.
Sharing a screenshot of a follower asking what she had “done with her lips,” she confessed that she was “tired” of the speculation.
“I know that in this generation people tend to do things very early, but I’ve never touched anything,” she wrote in the now expired Instagram Stories post, The Post reported.
“You can look at photos of me when I was younger nothing has changed. People love to compare and make things up but just because I wear makeup or use a lip liner doesn’t mean I’ve had my lips or face done. At some point we need to stop with that.”
