Halle Berry Reveals the 1 Thing She Will Never Do During Sex Amid Engagement to Van Hunt

News RoomBy News RoomFebruary 24, 20261 ViewsNo Comments

Halle Berry is an Oscar-winning actress — but she won’t be faking it in the bedroom.

“We had to get there so that he felt good about bringing us to orgasm,” Berry, 59, said while appearing on the Thursday, February 24, episode of the “Sex With Emily” podcast, explaining that she no longer pretends to orgasm in bed for the sake of her partner. “We had to say that we did it so that he would feel good about himself. Because what is that doing? That’s putting his needs before our own. And now I don’t do that anymore.”

The Catwoman actress continued, “I’m like, ‘No, I come first like you come first to you.’ We both deserve to have this be a mutually enjoyable experience, so we both can roll over and go to sleep because we feel good — not one snoring and the other one looking at the ceiling, going, ‘What the hell?’”

Berry has been very open about her sex life with fiancé Van Hunt in recent years. (She confirmed their engagement during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon earlier this month.)

“It was the first time I was madly in love before I had sex. That has never happened to me, ever,” she said of their romance while speaking with Marie Claire in September 2024. “Talk about one of those life-changing, beautiful experiences. It was magical, just magical.”

Berry and Hunt, 55, were first linked in 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic. That summer, the “Seconds of Pleasure” singer shared a photo of Berry kissing his cheek via Instagram, confirming their romance. The couple have been going strong ever since, with Berry revealing she “manifested” her relationship with Hunt after experiencing heartbreak in the past.

“Having gone through three divorces, I finally knew what wasn’t working, and I realized I was always saying to the universe what I didn’t want — what I didn’t want,” Berry said on Today earlier this month, referring to her past marriages to exes David Justice, Eric Benét and Olivier Martinez. “So guess what I did? I manifested what I didn’t want. So, I really had to change my thinking, and instead of thinking of what I didn’t want, I had to get intentional with what I did want.”

She continued, “What was my perfect partner? What would he be like, feel like? What walk of life would he have come from? Who would he be? How would he treat me? I got very granular with it, and then he showed up. It was the perfect match for me.”

Berry, who shares daughter Nahla, 17, with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry and son Maceo, 11, with Martinez, said that if she never found Hunt, she would still be content with her family of three.

“If it didn’t come, I would have been good just to raise my kids,” the Monster’s Ball actress admitted. “After three divorces, you kind of go, ‘I’m just going to be alone,’ and I was ready to do that. I was done. I knew that if the right person didn’t show up for me, I’d be better off going at it alone. But this is the power of manifestation. We can manifest any reality we want.”
