Gisele Bündchen’s runway walk isn’t the only thing fans have their eyes on.
Ever since becoming a world-famous supermodel, Bündchen has struggled to keep her romantic life out of the spotlight.
“If everything that’s written about me was true, I’d have about 10 kids and I’d be married five times,” she told Arena magazine in 2008. “One of them with some actor named Chris Evans, whose name I heard for the first time two hours ago.”
Before marrying NFL quarterback Tom Brady, the runway veteran found herself dating Leonardo DiCaprio. And when her love story with Brady came to an end, Bündchen continued to make headlines when she fell in love with Joaquim Valente.

Scott Barnhill
In 1999, Bündchen briefly dated fellow model Barnhill. At one point, the pair were able to participate in a poolside photo shoot for Vogue. The duo ultimately broke up that same year with Barnhill reportedly confirming to E! News: “We just recently split up, but you know, life goes on. I’m definitely working through it, I’m moving on.”
Leonardo DiCaprio
From 2000 to 2005, Bündchen and DiCaprio experienced what appeared to be a lavish, romantic relationship. But after breaking up the romance, the supermodel shed light on what went wrong.
“No longer numbing myself with smoking, drinking and too much work, I was becoming more and more aware of things that I’d chosen not to look at,” she told PORTER magazine in February 2019. “Was I alone in wanting to do some serious soul-searching while he stayed the same? In the end, unfortunately, the answer was yes.”
Tom Brady
Following her split from DiCaprio, the Brazilian model started dating Brady. Shortly after the duo met through friends in December 2006, they made their relationship public in February 2007. Two years later, Bündchen married the NFL quarterback at St. Monica Catholic Church in Santa Monica, California.
During their relationship, the couple welcomed a son, Benjamin Rein, and a daughter, Vivian Lake. After 13 years of marriage, however, the couple divorced in October 2022 and agreed to share joint custody of the children.
“I have [had] incredible experiences, I learned so much. I have my children which are the biggest blessing in my life,” Bündchen told Robin Roberts in March 2024 after the divorce. “Now, I get to create a new season, a new chapter in my life. I get to walk my path in a different way.”
Joaquim Valente
Romance rumors between Valente and Bündchen first sparked in November 2022 when the duo were spotted enjoying a family vacation together. Five months later, the supermodel seemingly shut down romance rumors while also praising the jiu-jitsu instructor.
“I think, at this point, unfortunately, because I’m divorced, I’m sure that [people will] try to attach me to anything,” she said in a Vanity Fair cover story. “I’m so grateful to know [Joaquim and his siblings], because not only have they helped me and helped my kids, but they have become great friends, and Joaquim especially.”
Over the summer, the pair’s connection turned romantic. In October 2024, People broke the news that Bündchen and Valente are expecting their first baby. The couple welcomed their son in February 2025. Later that year, Us Weekly confirmed that Bündchen and Valente tied the knot in December 2025.
