The internet’s biggest night has arrived.
The first-ever U.S. TikTok Awards kicked off on Thursday, December 18, at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. The event — which airs live on TikTok and official streaming partner Tubi — features an audience of hundreds of creators, with a red carpet and performances under the theme “New Era, New Icons.”
Ahead of the awards show, fans were able to vote for their favorite creators — with categories such as “Okay Slay Award” and “Immediately Added to Cart Award” — on the TikTok Awards’ in-app hub.
Influencers Alix Earle, Adam W, Brooke Monk, Keith Lee and Kristy Sarah are all competing for the Creator of the Year title. A-listers and athletes alike — including Coco Gauff, Paris Hilton and Shay Mitchell — are also up for Muse of the Year.
Tan France, who is presenting at the TikTok Awards, shared via Instagram that the categories celebrate the content creators and moments that “really shaped culture.”
