Tensions flared Sunday after the Panthers found themselves on the losing end of a 40-9 blowout defeat against the Bills.
In footage circulating on social media, Bills offensive tackle Dion Dawkins and Panthers defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson got into it on the field at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, resulting in players from both squads trying to de-escalate the situation as shoving ensued.

The moment descended further into chaos when Dawkins, 31, appeared to toss a hat in the direction of Robinson, 30, who was held back by Carolina defensive tackle Derrick Brown.
“Get off me, get off me!” Robinson exclaimed in a video shared by ESPN’s Kimberley A. Martin, to which Brown said, “It’s me,” as he walked his teammate away from the scene.
Martin expanded on the situation in her post after asking Dawkins “why emotions were so high between him and Robinson.”
“Dawkins looked up at the scoreboard and said: ’40-9.’ Said he was trying to shake hands postgame and then … chaos,” she wrote.

Dawkins, whose Bills improved to 5-2 with the victory, shouted out the “great atmosphere” in Carolina in a postgame tweet, but did not address the Robinson scuffle.
“Great atmosphere down in Carolina, Felt like a home game on the road #BillsMafia For the Win #YouAlreadyShnow,” the post on X read.
The Bills will be back in Western New York next weekend for a highly anticipated matchup against the surging Chiefs, winners of two straight entering Monday night’s home game against the Commanders.
Buffalo toppled Kansas City in the regular season last November, 30-21, before the Chiefs got their revenge in January in an AFC Championship rematch, 32-29. They were then blown out by the Eagles in the Super Bowl, 40-22.
As for the 4-4 Panthers, they return to action Nov. 2 against the Packers after this week’s bye.
