Stars Who Received Messages From Taylor Swift After ‘Life of a Showgirl’ Release

Taylor Swift sent loving messages to the biggest supporters in her inner circle following the release of her new album, The Life of a Showgirl.

Swift’s 12th record dropped on Friday, October 3, and for some stars the highly-anticipated album came with some special packages in the mail. On Monday, October 6, Jenna Bush Hager was one of the first stars to show off the bright orange package and the letter that went along with it on social media.

“Well hi! If you’re reading this, you’re someone who has shown love, someone I admire and ultimately someone I’d want to celebrate with as we welcome The Life of a Showgirl into the world,” the message card read. “I hope you like the gifts and record! With love, a showgirl named Taylor.”

Fellow Kansas City Chiefs WAG, Brittany Mahomes, also showed off her present. The pop star and Brittany have grown close since she started dating now-fiancé Travis Kelce, who is teammates and good friends with Patrick Mahomes. (Swift and Kelce got engaged last month after two years of dating.)

“@taylorswift has done it again!” Brittany gushed via her Instagram Story. “Truly one of the best to ever do it and keep doing it!”

Since Swift became friends with the Mahomes family, fans have speculated that Swift gave Brittany a mention on The Life of a Showgirl with her track “Cancelled!” due to controversial behavior over the years.

While not all of Swift’s friends have shown off their gift packages, others have expressed their excitement for the singer’s latest era. Blake Lively tossed a “like” on Swift’s official release announcement while Selena Gomez celebrated the drop with several behind the scenes snaps of her and Swift at her recent wedding to Benny Blanco.

Jenna Bush Hager

The Today host showed off her gift from Swift via her Instagram Story, which included a vinyl, merch and a sweet note.

“We [are] all in – living like showgirls in our house,” Bush Hager wrote alongside the snap.

Bush Hager attended Swift’s Eras Tour multiple times with her husband Henry Hager and their daughters, Mila and Poppy. (The couple also share son Hal.)

Serena Williams

The Olympian also showed off a video of her unboxing the special surprise.

“It is no secret that I am a Swiftie and it is no secret that I literally screamed when I walked into the house and saw this,” Williams said in the clip while opening the sparkly orange box. “Thank you, Taylor!”

Williams also joked that her daughter, Olympia, was going to “literally lose her mind” when she saw it. (The tennis pro shares daughters Olympia and Adira, 2, with husband Alexis Ohanian.)

“So excited. We love ‘Cancelled! So yay!” she continued. “I’m going to have to record her reaction cause she’s going to go crazy.”

Brittany Mahomes

Brittany posted a photo of the goodies from Swift’s package, which included the record and two black clothing items. She had Swift’s song “The Life of Showgirl” playing in the background.
