Livvy Dunne kicked off her birthday celebrations in a good-as-gold look.
Dunne, who turned 23 on Wednesday, October 1, celebrated another trip around the sun in a shimmery Dolce & Gabbana outfit during a date night with her boyfriend, Paul Skenes, in New York City on Tuesday, September 30. For their romantic evening out, the gymnast wore a gold corset dress featuring a built-in balconette bra, delicate black straps, a ribbed bodice and a matching skirt.
She added even more glamor to her ensemble with gold bracelets and a Gucci shoulder bag, as well as black pointed-toe heels.
For glam, Dunne stunned with a full beat, including dewy skin, bronzed and rosy cheeks, glossy pink lips and gold eyeshadow. She completed her look with long lashes and her blonde hair worn down and straightened.
Dunne and Skenes, also 23, arrived in Greenwich Village in style, as the Pittsburgh Pirates player rocked a navy blue dress shirt adorned with white plaid stripes. He completed his look with sand-colored khakis and white Nike sneakers. As the duo got out of their car, Skenes put his arm behind Dunne and walked beside her.
After getting their photos taken, Dunne took to Instagram and showed off their looks. “Early bday activities,” she captioned the post.
She also shared pics of herself enjoying cake in a martini glass while sitting on a kitchen counter, and a peek inside her evening with Skenes. In the pic, she held up a glass of red wine and gave the camera a “cheers.”
“A tini bit older🍸🎂,” Dunne wrote alongside the photo. Her friends and fans were quick to wish her a happy birthday in the comments section.
Gymnast Sierra Ballard wrote, “BDAY QUEEN.” Ashtin Earle added, “Happy birthday!!!❤️❤️,” while a fan gushed, “Outfit is a slay as always.”
Dunne and Skeenes first sparked romance rumors in June 2023, when she traveled to Omaha, Nebraska, to cheer on Skenes as their college, Louisiana State University, played in the college World Series. (Dunne also studied at LSU.)
The following month, Skenes was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates. Dunne supported her man by wearing a Pirates hat while out and about in Florida.
In August 2023, Skenes confirmed their relationship while chatting with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. He shared that they met through his best friend, who was dating Dunne’s roommate and teammate, Elena Marenas.
“Just a small-world type of thing,” she said of their relationship, per Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. He also opened up about the public eye watching the duo.
“It can be a pain in the butt sometimes, to be honest, in terms of actually going somewhere,” he said. “If one of us went out in Baton Rouge by ourselves, there’s probably gonna be someone there asking for something — picture, autograph, whatever.”
The pair later made their relationship Instagram official in September 2023, when Dunne posted a pic of themselves enjoying an LSU football game.
Dunne for her part wore a floral yellow sun dress, while Skenes opted for a purple shirt and white shorts.
