When Benny Blanco walked down the aisle with Selena Gomez, he made it even more sentimental with a wedding ring that tells their love story in gold and gemstones.
Luxury jeweler Jacob & Co. designed a custom 18k gold band for the music producer, infused with deeply personal touches. Inside the minimalist ring are two tiny but meaningful stones: a 0.03-carat ruby and a 0.03-carat aquamarine — her birthstone and his, respectively. (Gomez, a Cancer, was born July 22, 1992, and Blanco’s birthday is March 8, 1988, making him a Pisces.)
The stones are nestled beside an engraving of their wedding date: 9.27.25. Jacob & Co. also made a custom watch and bracelet for Blanco, 37, which was seen in a hand-holding photo shared by the couple on their big day.
“With these bespoke creations, we wanted to capture Benny and Selena’s love in its purest form,” said Jacob & Co. CEO Benjamin Arabov, as reported by People on Monday, September 29. “Every detail down to the choice of stones, was meant to honor their journey and create heirlooms that will last forever. We are proud to be part of this journey.”
Gomez, for her part, donned a new diamond-encrusted wedding ring paired with her marquis diamond engagement ring, also wearing twinkling 12-carat diamond earrings by Tiffany & Co.
Laura Taylor, engagement ring specialist at Lorel Diamonds, told Us Weekly on their wedding day that Gomez’s original sparkler “is a truly timeless design, perfectly suited to her style.”
“It features a stunning marquise cut diamond, which I’d estimate to be around 8 carats, set on a yellow gold pavé band,” Taylor added. “This type of cut has seen a real rise in popularity recently, and I’d say Selena has played a big part in that. In fact, they’ve seen a 246 percent increase in interest worldwide when compared to this time last year.”
The lovebirds — who announced their engagement in December 2024 after a year of dating — exchanged their vows in Santa Barbara, California, surrounded by about 170 guests.
Attendees included Gomez’s family from Texas, Blanco’s inner circle and several A-listers, a source exclusively told Us Weekly.
The Only Murders in the Building actress, 33, was “sobbing and crying so hard” during the ceremony, leaving not one dry eye in the room, the source said, adding, “Everyone there was sobbing, and it was extremely emotional.”
Blanco had “much shorter” vows, during which he quipped about how they were not going to be “as long” as Gomez’s remarks. “They were still very heartfelt and sweet,” the insider noted.
Gomez and Blanco went all out for the occasion, opting for “very eclectic” decor, with Blanco planning the entire wedding. “It was very much his style and was similar to the decor in their Beverly Hills home,” a tipster told Us. “He is very into design and loved doing it.”
“They had rugs and carpet everywhere because Benny does not like to wear shoes,” the insider pointed out, adding that Blanco and Gomez had their shoes off for most of the night.
