David Beckham is recovering from a recent hospital stay.
The Inter Miami CF co-owner was laid up in a hospital bed with his arm in sling, as seen in an image on wife Victoria Beckham’s Instagram Story on Friday.
“Get well soon daddy,” Victoria, 51, wrote, adding a heart emoji.
Beckham, 50, who was smiling in the photo, was wearing a hospital gown while hooked up to wires.
The Spice Girls alum didn’t share further details about Beckham’s injury.
Beckham underwent surgery to repair a wrist fracture sustained 22 years ago during a 2003 friendly match versus South Africa, according to the Irish Star — adding that a recent X-ray showed a screw was stuck in his forearm from that original surgery and it didn’t dissolve properly.
Another snapshot by Victoria showed the legendary right winger resting at home and wearing a friendship bracelet that read, “Get Well Soon.”
Victoria, who runs her own fashion and beauty empire, also shared a photo of a bunch of boxes of Beeup, the fruit snacks brand Beckham launched earlier this month.
Beckham has yet to address his injury publicly.
However, he did congratulate tennis superstar Aryna Sabalenka for becoming the latest investor in IM8, the supplement brand co-founded by Beckham, on his instagram Story.
“Welcome to the family,” Beckham wrote, including a snapshot of him and Sabalenka holding an Inter Miami jersey.
It’s unclear if Beckham will attend Inter Miami’s clash with Paris Saint-Germain, the current European champion, in the Club World Cup on Sunday.
Lionel Messi will face his former team at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia and a win over the reigning European champion would secure Inter Miami a spot in the quarterfinals.
