The Mets and Cardinals won’t play Saturday afternoon thanks to some inclement weather.
With thunderstorms in the forecast, the 2:15 p.m. ET game was postponed and will be made up as part of a split doubleheader Sunday.
The teams will play the two games of the twin bill at 1:15 and 6:15 p.m.
It’s not clear how the Mets will line up their pitching, but Tylor Megill was slated to pitch the originally scheduled Saturday game while Blade Tidwell was slated to make his MLB debut on Sunday.
New York has won all five games against St. Louis this year after taking the series opener Friday, 9-3.
