The Real Housewives of New York City had a major casting shakeup — and total revamp — in 2023 with the start of season 14. However, fans are still keeping up with the OG RHONY stars and the biggest names from the franchise.
While many RHONY alums still call the Big Apple home, a few have left the city for Florida’s beaches, including Bethenny Frankel and Jill Zarin.
Frankel, who starred on the Bravo series on and off from 2008 to 2019, announced her move to Florida in April 2025. A source exclusively told Us Weekly at the time that Frankel’s daughter, Bryn, was a big factor in why she decided to relocate.
“Bryn is Bethenny’s top priority, and the decision to move to Florida was all about supporting her,” a source close to Frankel explained in April 2025. “The move reflects Bryn’s academic and athletic goals, and was made with her physical and emotional well-being front and center.”
Frankel is not the first RHONY star who has chosen a change of residency. Scroll down to see which other former stars call Florida home now:
Bethenny Frankel
“I am moving to Florida for personal and professional reasons,” Frankel announced via an Instagram video in April 2025. “Something has arisen that made this the best and healthiest for myself and my daughter.” (Frankel shares daughter Bryn with ex-husband Jason Hoppy.)
She explained, “We will maintain residences in the Hamptons and New York City because we love New York. This will be our primary and permanent residence.”
Sonja Morgan
Morgan first joined RHONY during season 3 and later starred on Luann & Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake. In July 2022, Morgan relisted her Upper East Side townhouse for $8.75 million after initially listing it in 2013 following her divorce from the late John Adams Morgan. Sonja put the property up for auction in May 2024, and it sold for $4.45 million.
That same year, Sonja purchased a waterfront condo in West Palm Beach for $600,000, according to The Palm Beach Post.
Jill Zarin
Zarin was a main cast member from season 1 to season 4 before making cameos on seasons 9 through 12. She has a long history with Florida, previously owning a condo in Miami and a house in Boca Raton while married to Bobby Zarin. (Bobby died in January 2018 at age 71 after a battle with cancer.)
Following her husband’s death, Jill said she was thinking of moving to Florida full-time. In 2022, she sold her Boca Raton home and temporarily lived in her New York City apartment — but not before appearing on an episode of The Real Housewives of Miami that year.
Jill announced in September 2023 that “Camp Zarin” had officially moved to Boca after a total renovation of the property she purchased one year prior. She has since given fans peeks at the estate via social media.
Ramona Singer
During the season 13 finale of RHONY, which aired in fall 2021, Singer revealed she recently bought a condo in Palm Beach. She gave fans a glimpse at the oceanfront property via her Instagram Story in September 2021. Singer still resides in New York City most of the time. Singer was on RHONY from season 1 to season 13.
Jules Wainstein
Wainstein was only on RHONY for season 8 before stepping away from the series. Her life and divorce from Michael Wainstein kept her in the spotlight. After announcing her split in 2016, Jules relocated to Florida and lived with her parents. In 2020, the exes settled their child custody agreement, which resulted in Jules having full legal custody over son Jagger and daughter Rio.
According to the deal reported by TMZ at the time, Jules is not allowed to move her kids without Michael’s permission. The outlet confirmed that the former couple both reside in Florida.
