Life isn’t all diamonds and rosé — but it can be in Las Vegas, where Lisa Vanderpump is about to launch her biggest project yet.
The Bravo star, 64, announced on Wednesday, March 12, that she’ll be opening The Vanderpump Hotel next year as part of her partnership with Caesars Entertainment. The new property will be housed at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road, the current home of The Cromwell hotel, which will undergo a full renovation.
“I am thrilled to once again be partnering with Caesars Entertainment, this time to venture into the hotel business,” Vanderpump said in a press release. “What an extraordinary opportunity to develop this iconic location into something unique, playful and upscale. Hospitality has always been our passion, and our mission is to create something sumptuous with a unique atmosphere.”
She continued, “Our successful history has always been based on the individuality of the location. Through my design company, Vanderpump Alain, with my partner Nick Alain, we can’t wait to breathe new life into this property and make it something truly magical.”
Vanderpump is fast becoming the queen of Las Vegas, having already opened three bars and restaurants in the city: Vanderpump Cocktail Garden, Vanderpump à Paris and Pinky’s by Vanderpump.
At the grand opening of Pinky’s last year, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum hinted that she had another big hospitality project in the works, but at the time she was sworn to secrecy.
“[The Vanderpump empire] is gonna get a lot bigger,” she exclusively told Us Weekly in December 2024. “There’s no end goal. I’m just gonna keep going. And there is something under wraps that I can’t tell you, but they’ll probably announce [it] next year. Something that’s gonna be … they’re gonna keep us busy.”
According to the press release, Vanderpump will “bring her stunning aesthetic and distinctive design to enhance the hotel reception and front desk area,” and “everything will be bespoke and created specifically for the location.” There will be an all-new lounge as well as a redesign of the hotel’s 188 guest rooms and suites with “an emphasis on sexy elegance and comfort.”
And for those looking to get a taste of the LVP lifestyle, the restaurateur will be hand-selecting the hotel amenities herself.
“We’ve had a phenomenal partnership with Lisa, developing three very successful restaurants in Las Vegas,” Sean McBurney, regional president of Caesars Entertainment, said on Wednesday. “Now we get to take Lisa’s vision and expertise to the next level — infusing her talent and creativity into an entire hotel at the most incredible location on the Las Vegas Strip. Nowhere else in the world can guests experience The Vanderpump Hotel, and we couldn’t be more proud to debut it.”
