Oscar de la Renta a hit with celebrities from Ariana Grande to Demi Moore

Known for glamorous gowns and high-profile clients — from Jackie Kennedy to Audrey Hepburn — Oscar de la Renta has been a symbol of luxury since it was founded by the Dominican-born designer in 1965. Current co-creative directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia have stayed true to the classic, feminine styles the brand is known for while leaning into playful motifs of flora and fauna. Promoting box-office smash “Wicked” at CinemaCon 2024 in a spectacular spring 2024 ODLR mini dress, megastar Ariana Grande was a blooming beauty. Another Ariana — Oscar winner Ariana DeBose — embodied petaled perfection, hosting the Tony Awards in a fall 2024 look made of individually-dyed acrylic pieces.

Attending the 2024 Met Gala, Kerry Washington looked “Scandal”-ously stunning in a custom royal purple dress with pearl-embellished orchids. 

Natalie Portman also indulged in the floral fantasy, donning a fall 2024 look for a screening of her limited series “Lady in the Lake,” while Christine Baranski turned out one of the year’s best looks in a molten-gold creation for the 2024 Emmys — bringing “The Gilded Age” in more ways than one.

Demi Moore represented style and “Substance” attending the film’s LA premiere in a romantic red rendition of the stained-glass style worn by DeBose, and Pamela Anderson took home a trophy (and took away our breath) in an effortless, pistachio-hued design at the Glamour Women of the Year event.
