Jason Kelce is checking his list — and trying to find the perfect holiday gift for his brother, Travis Kelce, and girlfriend Taylor Swift.
“It’s tough to shop for people that can have anything that they want,” Jason, 37, quipped during his Jimmy Kimmel Live! appearance on Thursday, November 21. “You gotta go to handmade gifts [or] something sentimental, maybe, that is near and dear to them.”
While Jason “has never” made a DIY gift before, he thinks that “it could work really well” in Travis and Swift’s case.
“I’ve gotten something up my sleeve this year,” Jason teased. “A macaroni necklace? It works on me with my kids — very well.”
Jason and his wife, Kylie Kelce, share daughters Wyatt, 4, Ellie, 3, and Bennett, 20 months.
“Friendship macaroni necklaces?” Jason further joked, referring to Swift’s fans trading homemade beaded bracelets at her concerts. “Maybe we just started a trend?”
Swift, 34, has been dating Travis, 35, since summer 2023 after a missed connection at her Eras Tour stop in Kansas City and a “metal as hell” — as she described to TIME last year — shout-out on his “New Heights” podcast. They made their public debut at one of his September 2023 Kansas City Chiefs games.
“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she told TIME in her 2023 Person of the Year profile. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
Amid Swift and Travis’ love story, she has also bonded with his inner circle including Jason and wife Kylie, 32.
“Taylor has really been integrated into the family,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in March. “They have fully embraced her. It’s a whole new world and chapter for her.”
Now, Swift watches Travis’ Chiefs games from a private box with the entire Kelce crew alongside her parents, her brother and their respective friends.
Travis, for his part, has also brought his family to see the pop star’s Eras Tour shows. The tight end went to a handful of London shows this summer with Jason and Kylie, who also attended last month’s Miami opener with daughters Wyatt and Ellie and the athletes’ mom, Donna Kelce.
“This Miami show was incredible,” Jason gushed on “New Heights” in October. “I don’t know if it’s the fact that we’re back in the U.S. — I think the London crowd was incredible — but the rain and everything, dude, it was on another level.”
