The PGA Tour leaves Florida for Texas for the next fortnight, but all eyes are on Augusta.

We’re now just two weeks away from the 2026 Masters, which is why the field for this week’s event at Memorial Park Golf Course is lacking in star power.

Rory McIlroy, Cameron Young, Tommy Fleetwood and Xander Schauffele are all skipping this event, and Scottie Scheffler withdrew due to the imminent birth of his child.

That has left the top of the betting board in the hands of Min Woo Lee, Chris Gotterup, Jake Knapp and Brooks Koepka. Lee, the defending champion, is a lukewarm 13/1 favorite to repeat.

Given the soft field and relatively easy scoring conditions, this is a perfect spot to try and find a long-shot winner.

2026 Texas Children’s Houston Open picks

Tony Finau (66/1, DraftKings)

The big-hitting Finau has become a regular in this column and for good reason.

He’s playing decent stuff, but his odds continue to sit in a lofty range because he hasn’t been in contention in quite a while. That said, Finau has three top-20 finishes in his last six outings, and he’s in a great spot to add another to the pile this week.

Not only is this a soft field, but he’s got splendid history on this course.

Finau took home the trophy at Memorial Park in 2022 and finished runner-up in 2024.

Sungjae Im (80/1, FanDuel)

Like Finau, Sungjae Im has spent a good deal of the last 12 months in the wilderness. And also like Finau, the South Korean has shown some signs of finding his form.

Im was in the driver’s seat at last weekend’s Valspar Championship, but he fell victim to the Sunday scaries and handed the tournament to Matt Fitzpatrick. That’ll happen during the Florida Swing, and a T4 at that course is still quite encouraging.

While the Valspar was just the first time Im made the cut in 2026, it was only his third start, signaling that the two-time PGA Tour winner and 2020 Masters runner-up has shaken off the rust.

His form may be scary, but Im’s upside is as high as just about anybody in this field. He’s a fine buy-low option in this range.

Aaron Rai (86/1, DraftKings)

It wasn’t too long ago that Aaron Rai was regularly heading into much more difficult tournaments at half these odds.

The Englishman has enjoyed a breakout campaign in 2024, earning his maiden PGA Tour victory, and was solid in 2025, culminating with a playoff triumph over Tommy Fleetwood in the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship.

A sluggish start to 2026 has seen Rai’s profile dip, but the two-gloved Englishman should have an opportunity to turn things around at Memorial Park.

Rai has finished inside the top-10 two times and top-20 three times in four trips to Memorial Park.
