Zendaya’s mom, Claire Stoermer, cryptically reacted to stylist Law Roach’s recent claim that the Euphoria actress has already married longtime beau Tom Holland.

Roach, 47, set the rumor mill into overdrive on Sunday, March 1, during a red carpet interview with Entertainment Tonight at SAG’s 2026 Actor Awards. Zendaya’s stylist teased that the long-awaited nuptials between the Spider-Man costars had “already happened.”

On Monday, March 2, Stoermer, 61, reshared a clip of Roach’s interview via her Instagram Stories, per People and E! News, and wrote, “The laugh…” alongside a laughing emoji.

Neither Zendaya nor Holland, both 29, has confirmed whether they have tied the knot. Us Weekly previously reached out to reps for the pair for comment.

Zendaya’s longtime pal, Roach, told ET with a laugh on Sunday, “The wedding has already happened. You missed it.”

When Roach’s interviewer tried to clarify whether the news was true, Roach responded, “It’s very true.”

The couple initially met on the set of 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, in which Holland played Spider-Man/Peter Parker and Zendaya his love interest, Michelle Jones Watson. They appeared in two sequels together, released in 2019 and 2021, and will soon costar in Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, both set for release in July.

Zendaya and Holland sparked engagement rumors over a year ago after she was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her left hand at the Golden Globe Awards in January 2025.

“Tom figured the holidays were the best time to propose in a very low-key way,” a source told Us at the time. “She didn’t want anything over the top.”

“Zendaya tried to keep it a secret but was very excited to show off her ring. She didn’t think people would notice but didn’t care either way,” the source added.

The insider continued, “Tom wanted to propose because he feels he is at the right time in his life and feels ready to settle down. They had many conversations over the years, but there was never any pressure. Zendaya is giddy and excited. She knew it might have been coming but never put pressure on it.”

Days later, Holland’s dad, comedian Dominic Holland, confirmed the engagement, revealing that his son had asked Zendaya’s dad, Kazembe Ajamu Coleman, for permission to wed the star.

“The big news this week is a good example of just such an opportunity for me — are they/aren’t they engaged? Zendaya wearing a ring and Tom nowhere to be seen adding to the intrigue,” Dominic wrote in a January 2025 Patreon blog post. “The engagement has now been confirmed and why I am writing about it here but without adding anything new and juicy like a date, venue, guest list …”

Dominic said that his son “had purchased a ring. He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter.”

He added, “I do fret that their combined stardom will amplify their spotlight and the commensurate demands on them and yet they continually confound me by handling everything with aplomb.”
