Below Deck Mediterranean fans who love Joe Bradley and Nathan Gallagher‘s friendship might be surprised to find out that the duo haven’t remained in touch since filming season 10.
During an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Joe revealed he has “yet’ to meet Nathan and Gael Cameron‘s baby.
“But from what I’ve seen on social media, he looked absolutely stunning,” Joe said about the couple’s first child, who was born in June. “Don’t get me wrong, I did try to send a few messages to Nathan.”
Joe noted that Nathan is likely “busy at the moment.”
“He’s a dad and he could be on a boat somewhere — I’m not too sure,” he added. “We’re just not really socially inclined [and] we don’t really speak but for what I’ve seen, what a gorgeous little baby that is.”
While reflecting on the relationship milestone, Joe praised Nathan and Gael’s bond.
“At this point in time — like when I just came back [on the show] — Nathan really did have strong feelings toward Gael. I just find it’s a blessing that they rekindled that relationship because it’s pure love what they’ve got,” he shared. “We could only wish as a species to find that level of love. It’s just a blessing and the fact that they’ve got a baby, what a gift. I could not be more happy.”
Nathan and Gael originally found love on season 9 of Below Deck Mediterranean. After getting off to a rocky start, they reconnected post-filming and continued to face ups and downs before expanding their family.
“With Gael, it just happened insanely fast. We connected and we grew a very, very strong bond. As time went on, we were just going with the flow,” Nathan exclusively told Us in July 2024. “I was going with the flow. I didn’t want to put too much pressure on her. I didn’t want to set us up to hook up in certain areas or certain times. It was more of what was happening in the moment.”
The pair then shocked Bravo viewers with the news of Gael’s pregnancy.
“I know a little late for the end of the year but 2024 was hardly a year to forget 🎉 So many amazing times to reflect on: Covered 4 continents, became a dive instructor, got my MOY 200gt, landed on on your teli – Below deck S9 and reunited with my other half just to name a few,” Gael wrote via Instagram in January. “But also so many challenges and lessons served [throughout] the joy. Coming off a bike in a head on collision, scooping to some of the hardest emotional lows and doing it alone are some of the parts you don’t see. But as I said, lessons … and there is nothing more valuable than an opportunity to grow.”
She continued: “So for that 2024, I thank you. For the friends, the opportunities, the highs, the lows and the lessons. 2025 I know your going it to flip me on my head and flying kick me with brand new challenges but I honestly can not wait ❤️🎉.”
Before reconnecting with Gael, Nathan had fun as boson on season 10 along with Joe. The duo worked together and became fast friends before reuniting this season.
“Having Nathan as my boss was nice to see because you can see a person grow. But don’t get me wrong, you do see a very different side of Nathan this season. If you’re a bit more organized, things will work out better,” Joe teased to Us. “He’s the boss so I am going to respect his position.”
Joe recalled not wanting to “step on any toes” after joining Bravado.
“I want to be there. I want to be there for a dear friend and respect a professional position regardless of who it is,” he continued. “So was I nervous? Not one single bit. I just want to be there for someone. That’s my take on it.”
