Conservative political commentator Charlie Kirk left behind two children after his sudden death in September 2025.
Kirk, who founded Turning Point USA, was killed on September 10, 2025, while speaking at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. He was 31.
“It’s with a heavy heart that we, the Turning Point USA leadership team, write to notify you that early this afternoon, Charlie went to his eternal reward with Jesus Christ in Heaven,” Turning Point USA said in a statement at the time.
Kirk shared his children, a son and a daughter, with wife Erika Frantzve, who they welcomed in 2024 and 2022. While they were careful to keep their kids’ names and faces out of the public eye over the years, they often shared their love for them via social media.

Charlie Kirk’s Daughter
Kirk and Frantzve became parents for the first time when they welcomed a daughter in August 2022.
The little one appeared regularly on both Kirk and Frantzve’s respective Instagram accounts with her face obscured in the posts.
One sweet post, shared in July 2025, featured the couple’s daughter on the set of morning show FOX & Friends where Kirk had been making an appearance.
The clip showed the toddler running up to her dad and jumping into his arms, before being wrapped up in an embrace.
“Happy Sunday from @foxandfriends and from my family! God bless!” Kirk captioned the photo.
Just weeks before his death, Kirk marked his daughter’s birthday via an Instagram post uploaded in August 2025.
“Happy birthday to our incredible daughter. Teaching her to know God, alongside @mrserikakirk, is the greatest privilege,” he wrote. “Having a family will change your life in the best ways, so get married and have kids. You won’t regret it.”
In many of Frantzve’s Instagram posts, she credited Kirk as being a great father and good example for her to look up to.
Charlie Kirk’s Son
The couple expanded their family in May 2024 when they welcomed their second child: a son.
To celebrate the boy’s milestone first birthday, Kirk gushed over how much his son had brought into his life in a touching Instagram post.
“Yesterday we celebrated our son’s 1st birthday! He has brought an infinite amount of joy and laughter into our lives,” Kirk wrote in May 2025. “Being a parent is an incredible gift, made far better because I get to do it alongside @mrserikakirk.”
Kirk ended the post by sharing a quote from the bible that appeared to share a parenting philosophy that he seemingly agreed with.
“‘Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it.’ Proverbs 22:6,” he wrote.
