Another perfect match has been crowned.

This post has spoilers for Perfect Match season 3.

After the final five couples battled it out in a compatibility trivia contest, the competition came down to Daniel Perfetto and Lucy Syed against Ollie Sutherland and AD Smith.

“I think this whole process, actually, if you are a slightly more jealous person [is] not great because the whole thing is that you have to try to be open,” Lucy, 29, said in the finale, which hit Netflix on Friday, August 15. “[When] the mixer happened, I was in shock [to learn about Daniel’s kiss with someone else].”

She added, “That was hard to process ‘cause the double standard that if all girls had come back and we’d done the same, then I think the house may have been in turmoil. To be honest, it challenged me in weird ways.”

Lucy is now grateful for the relationship test because it gave her an unprecedented chance to “say how [she was] actually feeling.”

“We’ve moved on from it,” she added before Daniel, 29, noted that Lucy was “definitely my perfect match.”

AD and Ollie, both 33, also got a chance to explain why they deserved to win the Perfect Match title after reuniting following AD’s brief elimination.

“It did give me perspective [and] it did make me realize that AD is just perfect for me,” Ollie gushed. “Me and AD click on that many more levels that I wouldn’t want to do this with anyone else. I genuinely mean that. I wouldn’t wanna be sat here with anyone else.”

In the end, the single Perfect Match cast members went into the boardroom one by one to decide which couple should walk away with the victory and an all-expense-paid vacation. Louis Russell, for his part, even played a round of “eenie meanie” to make his choice.

Daniel and Lucy were ultimately crowned the winners, celebrating with a kiss and plans to jet off to Fiji together. Runners-up Ollie and AD also shared their congratulations.

“Am I disappointed? A little bit. I would have loved to have won, but I genuinely couldn’t be happier for Daniel and Lucy,” Ollie said in a confessional. “I hope they have an amazing vacation together and an amazing future. AD is definitely the girl of my dreams. I’ve already got plans to fly to the [United] States and see her. If that doesn’t work, I’ll be back next year.”

After a brief pause, Ollie added, “No, it won’t. I’m gonna marry AD.”

Months after Perfect Match was filmed in fall 2024, Ollie proposed to AD in March. They are now expecting their first baby.
