The Yankees kept their season alive for another day.

The Yankees avoided getting swept on baseball’s biggest stage with a stirring 11-4 win over the Dodgers on Tuesday night in Game 4 of the World Series, giving them at least a chance to make things interesting and postponing — at least for one day — all the questions that await in the offseason.

Anthony Volpe played the hero, reversing the Yankees’ fortunes with a grand slam in the third inning that gave them a 5-2 lead they wouldn’t relinquish.

What a moment for the childhood Yankees fan turned shortstop.
