For years, we’ve heard about Arch Manning, from the time he led his team to a middle school championship in the seventh grade and a video of his big arm went viral.

Steadily, the hype increased. Manning was going to follow in the footsteps of his Hall of Fame grandfather, Archie, and Super Bowl champion uncles, Eli and Peyton.

He became the first freshman to start at quarterback at Isidore Newman in New Orleans in at least 40 years, and developed into the top-rated recruit in his class by his senior year.

Now, after two years of waiting his turn at Texas, serving as Quinn Ewers’ backup, Manning is entering the spotlight for the top-ranked Longhorns.
