Tyreek Hill is off the hook for his September run-in with police in Miami.

The Dolphins wide receiver had traffic tickets for careless driving and a seatbelt violation dismissed after Miami-Dade police officers no-showed a court hearing on Monday.

The Miami-Dade Police said the failure to appear was “an oversight” and defended issuing the citations.

“A citation dismissed due to this reason does not indicate that the citation held no merit,” the agency said in a statement.

The 30-year-old Hill was pulled over outside Hard Rock Stadium before the Dolphins’ season opener on Sept. 8.

After a back and forth, Hill was instructed to exit his vehicle before being pulled from his seat and brought to the ground, laying on his stomach as he was placed in handcuffs.

He was detained at the time for “driving in a manner in which he was putting himself and others in great risk of danger.”

Hill would be issued a citation and released in time for the game, in which he would finish with seven receptions on 12 targets for 130 yards, including an 80-yard touchdown catch, capped off by a handcuff celebration in the end zone.

The incident was placed under review on that Sunday, and 27-year Miami-Dade police veteran Danny Torres was put on administrative duties stemming from the ordeal.

Hill, who has been playing through a left wrist injury he claims he aggravated during the incident, took to social media on Tuesday to troll those who criticized his role in the ordeal.

“Where all the internet cops now,” he wrote on X.

In the days after the incident, Hill called on Torres to be fired by the department for what he deemed “excessive” force

“After a careful and thorough review of the multiple body cameras and concern citizens’ videos that captured the unfortunate events that transpired on Sunday, September 8, 2024, between several officers of the Miami Dade Police Department and Tyreek Hill, we are demanding for the immediate termination of the officer that has been placed on administrative leave,” Hill said via attorney Julius B. Collins.
