President Trump teased Tuesday that he will make a “very, very big announcement” that will be “earth-shattering” before he jets off next week on a highly anticipated visit to the Middle East.

“We’re going to have a very, very big announcement to make, like as big as it gets,” Trump said during an Oval Office meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. “And I won’t tell you on what … and it’s very positive.”

“It’ll be one of the most important announcements that have been made in many years about a certain subject, very important subject. So you’ll all be here.”

Carney played along, telling the president when invited to speak that he was “on the edge of my seat.”

Trump, 78, will travel to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates May 13-16 — and suggested he could make the announcement Thursday, Friday or Monday ahead of his departure.

“It’s not about trade, it’s about something else — but it’s going to be a truly earth-shattering and positive development for this country and for the people of this country,” he later said at the White House.

Sources close to the administration told The Post Tuesday evening they weren’t certain about what the announcement could be.

The president made the remarks about the announcement during his meeting with Carney, in which the two leaders discussed trade and the war in Ukraine.

Trump stood firm in his commitment to see Canada become America’s 51st state — with the new prime minister sitting inches away.

Trump and Carney didn’t come to a trade agreement, but the Canadian PM told reporters afterward progress was made to coming to a potential deal.
