He’s seeing red.

Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom expressed fear for the future of democracy Wednesday over the unwanted delivery of campaign-style merchandise suggesting President Trump will seek a third term in the White House.

“I don’t think Donald Trump wants another election,” Newsom said at a Politico forum in Sacramento, Calif. “I have two dozen ‘Trump 2028’ hats his folks keep sending me.”

The crowd laughed at the trolling that the governor – a potential 2028 presidential candidate – revealed he has been experiencing.

“Who spends $200 million on a ballroom at their home and then leaves the house?” Newsom argued, when asked by the moderator if he believes Trump plans to run again.

The remark, again, sparked laughter.

“This is serious, guys, this is serious,” Newsom scolded the crowd.

“This guy doesn’t believe in free, fair elections. He tried to wreck this country. Were you there Jan. 6?” the Golden State governor fumed.

It’s unclear if the hats are being sent to the governor by Trump’s team or his supporters.

The White House did not respond to The Post’s request for comment.

The president keeps a large stash of swag, including hats with the slogans “Trump 2028” and “4 More Years,” in a room near the Oval Office that previously saw use as a private study.

Trump frequently brings visiting heads of state and other White House guests into the room to pick out souvenirs before they leave.

“This drives them crazy,” Trump told Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev earlier this month, as he pointed to one of the cheeky hats on display in the room.

“You know, you’re not allowed to run [for a third term],” the president added. “I’m 28 points higher than anybody. Everyone wants me to run.”
