Former President Donald Trump on Thursday brought family members of Marine veteran Nicholas Quets on stage with him during his rally in Nevada.

Quets was shot to death on Oct. 18 in Mexico, near the US border, by gunmen with possible ties to a Mexican drug cartel.

“He was viciously gunned down on the highway and murdered by members of a Mexican cartel,” Trump said of Quets.

“Two weeks ago, I was a completely apolitical actor,” Quets father, Douglas, told the crowd.

Douglas said his son was “shot in the back on the way to the beach in Mexico.”

He thanked Trump for “calling attention” to his son’s death and praised the “good conversations” he’s since had with the former president and his running mate, Sen. JD Vance.

“I can’t thank you enough for what you’ve done for my family in terms of calling attention to this. It was unreported in the media,” the grieving father added.

His mother, Patricia, begged the crowd “to help us get justice for Nicholas.”

“We’re going to take care of it,” Trump said. “We’re going to get that guy.”

“Mexico is going to give him to us,” the former president said of Nick’s killer.
