Trump agencies ‘working to undo’ past abuses under Biden — including calling Post’s Hunter Biden scoop Russian hoax

News RoomBy News RoomOctober 22, 20252 ViewsNo Comments

WASHINGTON — Intelligence and law enforcement agencies under President Trump are “working to undo” wrongdoing by the Biden administration — including falsely suggesting The Post’s bombshell reporting based on Hunter Biden’s laptop emails was Russian disinformation.

The Interagency Weaponization Working Group (IWWG) will draw on resources from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, CIA, FBI, Department of Justice and other agencies pursuant to a Jan. 20 executive order Trump signed authorizing the move.

That order triggered a review of all “activities of the Intelligence Community over the last 4 years” to “identify any instances” to “ensure accountability for the previous administration’s weaponization of the Federal Government against the American people,” in accordance with the order’s language.

Officials will be focusing on the “suppression” of Hunter Biden’s laptop,” Biden aides “coordinating with 51 former intel officials to interfere in 2020 presidential election” and how the “FBI warned social media companies that NY Post reporting could be Russian disinformation, despite intelligence of its authenticity,” according to a senior ODNI official.

“There is no targeting of any individual person for retribution,” the official added. “IWWG is simply looking at available facts and evidence that may point to actions, reports, agencies, individuals, etc who illegally weaponized the government in order to carry out political attacks.”

IWWG members will also be looking into federal law enforcement and intelligence actions taken against “J6ers, Catholics, parents who attended schoolboard meetings, conservatives, and COVID dissenters,” the official noted.

The group is also going to investigate the TSA’s “Quiet Skies” program that monitored Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard’s every movement when flying.

Gabbard convened biweekly meetings starting in April to coordinate the working group’s response — and a final report will be delivered to the president at a later date.

“The American people made a clear choice when they elected President Trump — to stop the Biden administration’s prolific and dangerous weaponization of government agencies against the American people and the Constitution,” Gabbard said in a statement.

“I stood up this working group to start the important work of interagency coordination under President Trump’s leadership to deliver accountability. True accountability is the first step toward lasting change.”

The spy chief joined with CIA Director John Ratcliffe earlier this year to refer former agency boss John Brennan and other ex-Obama cabinet members to the Department of Justice for possible criminal prosecution.

Officials in the group have also been mulling over an FBI memo that sought to target “radical traditionalist Catholics,” which was denounced by former Attorney General Merrick Garland after it surfaced, as well as a letter calling for probes of disgruntled parents at school board meetings for possible domestic terror ties.

“Joe Biden’s Department of Justice targeted President Trump and anyone close to him, prosecuted pro-life advocates, treated parents at school board meetings as domestic terrorists, and destroyed public trust in federal law enforcement,” Attorney General Pam Bondi told Fox News, which first reported on the group.

“Going after President Trump, pro-life Americans, and parents at school boards while letting real criminals run wild,” added FBI Director Kash Patel. “Under President Trump, we’ve ripped that agenda out by the roots.”
