Sunday was a “good day to be a Jag” for Trevor Lawrence and his family.
Taking to Instagram after Jacksonville throttled the Jets, 48-20, the quarterback’s wife, Marissa Lawrence, recapped the Week 15 victory in a series of photos as the Jaguars improved to 10-4.
“Good day to be a Jag,” Marissa captioned the post, which featured photos of the couple’s 12-month-old daughter, Shae, watching her dad go off against Gang Green.
Lawrence tossed a season-high five touchdowns for 330 yards and rushed for another score, a performance that left his teammates in awe.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen Trev like this, and we won a national championship together,” Jaguars running back Travis Etienne said of the former first-overall pick, with whom he won a national title during the 2018 college football season at Clemson.
“He’s on fire. You’ve seen it. … The growth that I’ve seen from him is just unbelievable.”
Lawrence, 26, is in his fifth season in Jacksonville and his first under rookie head coach Liam Coen. The team is currently atop the AFC South and looks poised for its first playoff appearance since 2022.
“Definitely this is as confident as I’ve felt,” Lawrence said, according to the Associated Press. “Just the feeling in our locker room and our team and our offense, it’s been fun. We’ve got to continue to build on that and not get complacent.
“There’s still a lot more ahead for us.”

The Jaguars will conclude the regular season with trips to Denver (Dec. 21) and Indianapolis (Dec. 28) before a home finale against the Titans on Jan. 4.
Through 14 games, Lawrence has thrown 23 touchdowns against 11 interceptions while rushing for a career-high six scores.
