Travis Kelce seemingly has fatherhood on his mind.

Kelce, who has been dating Taylor Swift since summer 2023, joked about having children to “become brilliant” while hosting a recent episode of his Prime Video show, Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?

In a segment that aired Tuesday, November 19, retired NFL quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick — a guest on the game show — remarked that being a parent makes you “wiser,” causing Kelce to become curious.

“Is that what happens when you have kids? You get smarter?” Kelce, 35, replied, to which Fitzpatrick, 41, nodded.

“Man, that’s all I had to do to become brilliant?” Kelce asked.

“Just have a baby!” Fitzpatrick responded.

That’s music to many Swifties’ ears. Swift, 34, and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end have been going strong for more than a year, sparking engagement chatter along the way.

While Swift has cheered on Kelce at numerous Chiefs games, she was a no-show at his showdown with the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, November 17. Her absence came after the singer performed her third Eras Tour concert in Toronto the previous evening and ahead of further shows in the city this week as her tour winds toward its final night in Vancouver on December 8.

Swift is scheduled to be back at Toronto’s Rogers Centre on Thursday, November 21, as she kicks off three consecutive nights before her tour’s Vancouver dates kick off at BC Place on December 6.

Meanwhile, Kelce and his teammates will play the Carolina Panthers in an away game on Monday, November 25, before ending the year against the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 26.

The couple’s hectic schedules have fans wondering whether Swift and Kelce will be able to spend Thanksgiving with each other. A source exclusively told Us Weekly in September that “Taylor and Travis are very committed and serious about their future,” and there have been several hints to suggest that they will indeed be together on Turkey Day.

Fans are also hoping that they’ll reunite to celebrate Swift’s 35th birthday on December 13, especially since her Eras Tour duties will have officially wrapped by then.

Meanwhile, Kelce seems to have inspired Swift’s November 16 stage show, where she paid homage to his dancing skills. In an improvised moment during “Midnight Rain,” Swift rotated her arms around each other before sticking her thumbs out to the side reminiscent of a Grease-style “Born to Hand Jive” move.

The dance, which occurred as Swift sang, “He never thinks of me / Except when I’m on TV,” appeared to replicate a similar move that Kelce is known for.

Back in June, Kelce attended Swift’s concert in London and was seen grooving in a similar fashion during her rendition of “Karma.”
