If you’re not trying to spend that kind of money, this $29 Amazon version gets really close. It has the same relaxed shape, wide shoulder strap and pulled-together look that made the Brooklyn a hit. It’s the perfect size for holding everything and you can use it all day without having to switch it out at night.
And shoppers are just as into it. One reviewer said, “This is genuinely the closest to the Brooklyn 39 Coach bag that I’ve found. Incredible quality for $150, let alone $24!”
Another shopper said they get compliments constantly, and a few people have even mistaken it for the real thing. “It’s super comfortable to carry, the quality is great, and I’m honestly so impressed with this bag. This is me influencing you to get one as well,” they wrote.
Someone else admitted they were planning to buy the Coach or the Cuyana version, but after trying this one, they completely changed their mind: “Now I don’t think I’ll even buy either anymore. Why pay $500 when I have the same look and feel from this bag?!”
Is it real leather? No. Does it look and feel pretty close? Apparently, yes. The material is soft, the inside is surprisingly roomy and the added interior pocket and key clip make it way more functional than it has any right to be at this price. If you’re not quite ready to commit to the designer version — or want to test-drive the trend — this one makes it easy.
