Well, that went better than expected.

Last May, NFL.com projected that the Washington Commanders would win 7.2 games in the 2024 season.

12 victories and an NFC Championship berth later, Jayden Daniels and co. are now one of the most feared teams in the league. Yet, head coach Dan Quinn thinks the team hasn’t even scratched the surface of their potential.

“Honestly, I expect us to be a lot better [in 2025],” Quinn said on the Glue Guys podcast.

“I am hoping the team we are bringing in will be a really competitive group,” he added. “…this is going to be a hard team to make. A lot of positions have some legitimate comp (competition). It’s going to elevate a lot of people. So, if we get that part right, the best teams have huge competitions among positions and in practice, offense and defense. That’s what I hope we can create here.”

The fact that the squad brought in star wideout Deebo Samuel Sr., safety Will Harris, lineman Javon Kinlaw, cornerback Jonathan Jones and defensive end Deatrich Wise to join Daniels as well as fellow Pro Bowlers Bobby Wagner and Terry McLaurin proves the franchise really is committed to winning.

And if you want to see if the Commanders can keep up their winning ways, tickets are now available post-schedule announcement for all eight 2025 home games at Northwest Stadium on Vivid Seats.

That includes huge matchups against the vengeful Detroit Lions (whom they upset to advance to the NFC Championship game) on Nov. 9, reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles (Dec. 20) and divisional rival Dallas Cowboys (Dec. 25).

Plus, they’ll also head overseas for the first-ever NFL game in Spain when they take on the Dolphins at Madrid’s Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid, Spain on Sunday, Nov. 16.
