The Detroit Lions are hungrier than ever.

In January, Dan Campbell’s team’s dominant season came to a heartbreaking surprise end when they lost 45-31 to the upstart Washington Commanders in the divisional round.

Their defeat was particularly upsetting considering Jared Goff and Co. finished the regular season with a sparkling 15-2 record — in a crowded NFC North division, no less — which positioned them as Super Bowl favorites.

Now, the squad heads into 2025 without defensive end Za’Darius Smith and cornerback Carlton Davis III, adding another roadblock toward the franchise’s first Lombardi Trophy.

Still, Campbell thinks the Lions are up to the task.

“We’ve seen the ups and downs, we’ve been through it, so this is the next challenge,” Campbell said, according to The Athletic.

“So if you say, well, you lost this guy, this guy, this guy — that to me is a slap in the face of the guys in that locker room.”

If you want to root on the guys in that locker room (which still includes perennial stars Goff, David Montgomery, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Penei Sewell and Sam LaPorta), tickets are available for all eight games at Detroit’s Ford Field on Vivid Seats.

That includes biggies against the Minnesota Vikings (Nov. 2), Green Bay Packers (Nov. 27, aka Thanksgiving) and Dallas Cowboys (Dec. 4).
